Eva Burkholder

Eva Burkholder’s experience as a third culture kid in Papua New Guinea, cross-cultural worker in Indonesia, women’s ministry director, Bible college adjunct professor, and member care provider adds a global and soul-care dimension to her study of Scripture and storytelling. Through her writing, Eva invites readers to slow down, reflect, and apply God’s word to life.

Eva’s heart’s passion is to build up God’s people until they reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. To that end, Eva blogs regularly at Pondered Treasures and continues to teach and mentor women as she has done for over thirty-five years.

Eva and her husband live in Texas and oversee the well-being of global workers for a church planting agency. A graduate of Baylor University (Waco, TX), she also has a Master’s in Christian Education from Columbia International University (Columbia, SC).

Crafting (specifically macramé) and spending time with her two sons, their wives, and grandchildren gives life to her soul.
