R.K. began reading romance before she was supposed to, captivated by the intensity of love stories long before middle school. Though she always carried stories of her own, it took a pivotal writers’ retreat to turn imagination into action. She now writes contemporary romance and romantic thrillers where passion collides with suspense and healing is hard-won. Outside of writing, she finds inspiration in travel, long walks, and music that stirs emotion.
