Richard L Decof combined 50 original short stories in "BOYCHICK", a coming-of-age fictional memoir. The stories trace family history, then follow Harold "Boychick" Silverman (and family and friends) from birth to bar mitzvah to high school graduation.

Narrator and next-door neighbor, Langameintza "The Shpeiler" provides an affectionate second view adding Yiddish humor and cultural wisdom in a voice similar to Jackie Mason.

Richard has also published "4 Rodney Stories For Children" - four 8x11 brilliantly illustrated children's stories about a 5-year-old lonely child and his kind patient single mother.

Rodney doesn't know how to make friends so he can be willful - acting up and showing off for attention.

The stories are interactive allowing an adult reader to increase bonds of trust and guidance with children.

Richard's self-illustrated book "I Am Fleeg" is innovative fun.

Original artwork inspired an 8x11 coloring book "The Grotesques Coloring Book".

A 2nd is nearly finished.

Decof's newest book "CALL 911?" offers young children large photo examples to decide if a situation is or is not a true emergency and whether they should call 911.
