Mary Weaver

Mary was born in Chicago, but didn't stay there long. Her childhood included life in California, Arizona, Connecticut, and Florida before returning to California for high school and college. After earning a Ph.D. from Cornell University, she taught at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas for a few years before starting her own training company. That led to more training gigs where she developed both training materials and a desire to write. That desire was finally realized after retirement with the publication of Velray, her first fantasy novel.

Fantasy novels have always been a part of her library. She learned to read with the Oz books (many people still don't know there are over forty of them). Since then she's discovered Middle-Earth, Hogwarts, Valdemar, Darkover, Pern, and many other worlds that have provided both hours of pleasure and real inspiration.

Mary currently lives in Round Rock, Texas.
