John A. Purdy

John A. Purdy has always had a passion for photography, science, and technology. These areas of interest came together when high quality photos and videos became possible on drones. He was hooked, and wanted to take his skills as a photographer into the sky so he could share a view of the world from a whole new perspective.

This inspired him to write the children's book series, "The Adventures of Leonardo the Drone." Fortunately, John is married to the talented children's book illustrator, Cindy Rodella-Purdy. Together they plan to create a number of STEM-related children's books. Stay tuned!
