Living with his wife in Oviedo, FL, Jarrett gets all the inspiration he needs for his children's books from his three kids Ella, Chase and Luke. In his first book, What if Dinosaurs Were Pink? we go back in time to take a silly look at what our prehistoric friends may have been up to. Winning the Literary Classics Gold award in 2018 set up the next book in the series What if Mercury Had Marshmallows? exploring the solar system. Moonbeam recognized the series in 2019 with a Silver Best Picture Book Series before the third book was even released! Most recently, What if Fish Had Freckles? takes us under the ocean to explore what may really be going on down there in a fun and whimsical rhyming book mirroring the others in the series, all beautifully illustrated by Daniela Dogliani from Torino, Italy.
