Dan L. Fuller is a former English teacher with a love for the stories and history of the Old West. As an outdoorsman, he has enjoyed traveling, hiking and camping in the Rockies and San Juan Mountains of Colorado. He loves to incorporate the real places he has visited into his stories. Growing up reading books such as Shane by Jack Schafer and True Grit by Charles Portis, his writing takes readers back to the spirit of the classic western novel.
In addition to writing, Dan enjoys painting landscapes and fly fishing.
Dan is married with two children, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is a member of The Gideons International and multiple writers' groups.
