I can never say that my first 50 years have been dull. When I was diagnosed with cancer, I took an inventory of my life, which I think is a pretty standard knee jerk response for most people. I have proudly served my country in the Army Reserves. I have given birth to six beautiful children and had a hand in raising eleven kids in all, not including the "friends" that called me mom. I have never really had time to travel much...go figure, but I have had many great days spent with my family cooking out, going to the parks, museums, and libraries, bowling, going to the zoo, flying kites, and making time for the occasional family camping trips. When I got sick, I realized how truly blessed I was with those simple, but happy times.

I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration and Management and have happily worked in the healthcare field for over twenty years.

I am very happily married to a man who puts up with the insanity I call my life, and he does so with a smile on his face.

I try each day to live my best life, share a smile, give of my time and honor God in the things that I do.
