DR LALIT KUMAR SHARMA

Dr Lalit Kumar Sharma is a family veterinarian, professionally, and a science communicator, passionately. He has been actively involved in the promotion and popularisation of science among masses in general, and children, in particular.

For more than two decades, he has been associated with a number of child-centric activities including Children’s Science Congress - the flagship programme of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Dr Sharma has been addressing the student community along with teachers and parents through lectures, talks and presentations on various topics of interest, across the country. His publications in journals and magazines of international repute range from research findings to popular articles. His writings are inspired by his keen observations from daily life.

Being a poet at heart, Dr Sharma has been penning his emotions in Hindi language on love and life, for the past four decades. For his poetry recitation, he has received a number of awards in different forums.
