CRACKING AN EGG, is a humorous and heartfelt look

at early childhood experiences growing up in the 1950s and 60s.

Andy was a founding congregant who helped build a very welcoming and

friendly Tacoma synagogue in 2012. A scandal there in 2018 inspired

Andy's first novel, THE KISSING RABBI: Lust, Betrayal, and a Community

Turned Inside Out, published in 2021. The Kissing Rabbi won a First

Place Blue Ribbon at the CIBA 2021 Mark Twain Book Awards for Humor

and Satire.
