Sergey Lebedeff

Sergey Lebedeff, or Lebedev (1962) is professor, doctor of philosophy, author of several major scientific monographs and more than a hundred scientific and popular articles, one of the leading experts in the history of Slavic civilization, politics, culture and philosophical thought.

The scientist explores the most complex and controversial issues of the formation of Slavic society and Slavic peoples. Being a very competent historian, Lebedeff always uses archival sources and very thinly weaves their materials into the canvas of historiography destroying non-professional legends and myths, which are created by some modern researchers in the name of nationalist ideas or political orders.

For a long time, the works of the scientist were not translated into English because of the isolation of Russian scientific state system in itself and ignoring the importance of the huge desire of billions of people around the world to get acquainted with the mysteries and truth of the Slavic world, which inhabited almost all of Europe a few thousand years ago and influenced the formation of modern civilization.
