Janet K Bauer is an author, musician, former teacher, and grandma to eight young children, who provided the inspiration for her first children's book, "Grandma, Whatcha Doing?"
Janet's second book, "These Kids Are Driving Me Crazy!" is full of useful information, lots of practical suggestions, and interwoven, Real Life stories that provide an excellent resource for anyone who works with kids whose neurodivergence or mental health issues affect their behavior.
Twinkle, twinkle, little star… From the tiniest lights in the old children’s rhyme, to the greatest Light of them all, Janet's children's book, Shine!, explores all of the lights God has given us, ultimately comparing an eclipse to Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Janet's newest book, "The Hotel Kids," tells the story of the author's uncommon upbringing in small town Nebraska, where her family managed two different hotels, first in Norfolk, and then in Fairbury. "An old Nebraska hotel was a magical place to grow up, with creaky staircases and secret passages, expansive party rooms and a huge, mysterious basement where we played for hours and, of course, we met so many interesting people!"
Janet writes from a Christian perspective, and lives in Gering, Nebraska, with her husband and son.
