Robert M. Craig

Robert M. Craig was born in St. Louis, Missouri, spent summers in Ocean City, Maryland, and now lives in Atlanta, Georgia. He is author of nine books on architectural history and other historical subjects, including memoirs of 34 Vietnam vets (RED RIVERS IN A YELLOW FIELD) and two histories of the Ocean City [Maryland] Beach Patrol [most recently SAVING LIVES]. His architecture books include award winning studies of Bernard Maybeck, John Portman, and Francis Palmer Smith of Atlanta. Now retired, Craig taught at the architecture school at Georgia Tech from 1973-2011.
