David Crews

About David Crews, Ph.D.

David Crews was born and raised on the white-sandy, emerald-green beaches of Panama City, Florida. He spent his boyhood years fascinated with thrilling true pirate stories and adventures of his ancestors of whom were some of the original pioneers of Northwest Florida in the 1800's coming here from England.

After graduating from college in the 1980's, he pursued a successful career in the medical field working with physicians and hospitals of the South travelling often for nearly two decades. However, on a total lark, he discovered a talent for music in 1996, while participating in a fundraising effort for the American Cancer Society in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.

Quite to his surprise, this part-time pursuit sent him on an amazing, weekend adventure as a professional singer/musician in Memphis/Nashville for a decade that led to national appearances through television, magazines, and special events as far as Japan, as well as meeting famous celebrities.

In 2007, after a series of uncanny events, he was led to go back to school and complete his graduate studies in philosophy/theology and history. By 2015, he had completed double Ph.D's and double Masters degrees with post-doctorate pursuits at Oxford University and the London School of Theology.

Today, he is embarked on "his greatest quest" to write, publish and speak of our greatest journey of all; the discovering of finding and knowing God deeply to our heart's greatest delight. He does this through various print and online resources designed to help believers be encouraged to grow 'in the grace of the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.'
