Rosemary Sylvanus Antel

After writing and publishing her newsletter, The Artist’s Life continuously since 1997, Rosemary Sylvanus Antel has published her first book Meditations on a Cup, Symbols of Our Lives in Paint and Pen.

Conceived as a thought-provoking art book featuring still life paintings of flowers and cups, this book goes well with a cup of restorative beverage. As an artist who supported her art by working as an environmental chemist, Antel paints the details with care.

Antel is an expert gardener, a published artist and an avid reader. She has a B.S. in Chemistry and an MPA in Environmental Policy. More importantly, she is a grandmother and looks to the future.
