Michelle Berthiaume, was born and raised in New England. She served in the United States Air Force (1976-1980) during the Cold War and flew special operations missions for NSA, earning a flight medal, and worked as a intelligence Analyst. She earned a Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University (1999) and a Masters in Writing (non-fiction) from SNHU (2014). She is a retired civil rights attorney who spends her time traveling between Colorado and Florida visiting family and friends and writing her memoirs.
