Marty Schultz is a mentor-speaker, angel fund investor, award-winning innovator and has bootstrapped and grown over five companies in his career. He started an enterprise messaging company in the 1990’s and took it public prior to the Internet explosion, and he built one of the first software-as-a-service companies, and recently sold it in a strategic acquisition.
His current startup is ObjectiveEd - whose mission is to improve the educational outcomes for all students with disabilities by gamifying education and using artificial intelligence – based on each student’s individual special needs and requirements – to help them build their skills and improve their learning and life experience. The company is focused on all special needs students – from pre-K to 12th grade, and starting first with visually impaired students, with a long-term goal is to help all of the 6 million students with disabilities in the USA, and eventually, millions more throughout the world. Visit www.objectiveEd.com for info.
His prior hobby was building accessible audio games for the blind. To date, his company, Blindfold Games, has released over 80 entertainment games played by over 50,000 visually impaired people from 4 to 80 years old, and recently surpassed the 500,000th download.
A firm believer in sharing his knowledge with others, Marty mentors entrepreneurs and has presented at several startup and venture capital conferences. He holds a certificate from Harvard Business School and degrees from Carnegie Mellon University. For more background on Marty, visit www.martyschultz.net
