It all started when I watched Finding Forester. I loved that movie; it inspired me to become the writer I am today. I started writing in the suburbs of Accra, Ghana, in 2011. I looked at myself in the mirror after the end of the movie. I closed my eyes, meditated, and watched my surroundings. The film reminded me of what I truly am. I envisioned the reflection of myself in others by telling stories, not only my biography, but also the lives of everyone I have experienced. It started awkwardly, and then people told me to find another profession. Then, I closed my eyes again, envisioned myself in the mirror, and the affirmation was right there. From that very blessed day, I never stopped writing, and I do not intend to give up on what I believe in. I stand firm in my beliefs. I wrote my first book, "GRACE HAS FOUND WAR," as a dedication to the homeless children, my son, myself, and the rest of the world. To remind them that anything and everything is attainable if only they’d believe.
