Alicia Voltmer

Alicia Sienne Voltmer was born in Florida and raised across the country and overseas. She earned a full swimming scholarship to Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where she was a Division 1, two-time Academic and Athletic All-American. She graduated with a double major in German and Political Science and earned her Master's degree shortly thereafter.

Seeking a break from the Texas heat, she attended California Western School of Law in San Diego and returned to Dallas to practice labor and employment law. She is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and AV-Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale Hubbell.

The Rise of Lady Justice is Alicia's debut novel set in and around Dallas. She's incorporated a number of well-known Dallas landmarks, including the Old Red Courthouse, Deep Ellum, White Rock Lake, and the Grassy Knoll, into the fabric of the novel.

She splits her time between Texas and Wyoming, and when she isn’t zealously representing clients or working on her next novel, she’s volunteering, spending time with friends and family, traveling, hiking, running, and looking for the next mountain to conquer.
