I'm a writer, mother, and political activist. In my past life, I was a human and civil rights attorney and, for a brief while, a solar marketing professional. My passions are my family, taiko drumming, Powerful Non-Defensive Communication, coffee and nature. My mantra for 2020 is from Buddhist monk and peace activist Thich Nhat Hanh, "Speak the truth but not to punish."
