Richard Mangan

Richard Mangan was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1945, to parents of Irish, Dutch and German heritage. He attended Marquette University High School and, after graduation, entered the novitiate of the Wisconsin Province Jesuits. After six years he left the Jesuits and became a film instructor at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. After two years he returned to Milwaukee and worked for local film and video production companies for many years, garnering numerous film awards including the CINE Golden Eagle and the ITVA Golden Reel. He has written a number of screenplays, and Priestling is his first novel.
