Pranav Kumar Prabhakar

Dr. Pranav Kumar Prabhakar is a prominent Indian biotechnologist and academic. He is globally recognized among the top 2% of scientists by Stanford University. He currently serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Biotechnology at Nagaland University.Dr. Prabhakar earned his Master’s in Biochemistry from Patna University in 2003. He received his PhD in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras in 2011. He also successfully cleared the national CSIR-UGC NET and GATE examinations.His career includes over a decade at Lovely Professional University, Punjab. There, he worked as an Assistant Professor and served as the administrative Research Coordinator for his school. He later became Professor and Deputy Director of Research at Parul University.Dr. Prabhakar’s research targets synergy, phytomedicine, and metabolic disorders like diabetes. He specializes in oral insulin delivery mechanisms. He has authored over 35 research articles, books, and book chapters. Dr. Prabhakar is an active member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (APCBEES). He also serves as an expert reviewer and editorial board member for several reputable international journals.
