David B. McEwan

David McEwan grew up in Kenmore, New York and was educated at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. Eventually settling in Toronto, Canada, David began a business career which included 15 years as a manager/executive with major corporations and another 15 as a strategic branding/marketing consultant and speech writer. David's experience from both sides of the executive table has given him a unique perspective on the potential and failure of leadership at all levels. Now writing more than consulting, in addition to 'The Age of the Enlightened Executive', he has ventured into a new arena and has written a number of scripts for film and television.

"I have been fortunate to see what great leadership can achieve, and it is inspiring. But more often, I have witnessed and experienced the lasting destruction that poor leadership leaves in its wake. When a person rises to the top, what is inside that person will determine the quality of the leadership they display."
