Milan Vohra

Milan Vohra is one of India's most loved authors of contemporary romance. She has written six books, of which five are fiction novels. Her first book, ‘The Love Asana’ (with Harlequin,2010), made her the first Indian Mills & Boon author and an international bestselling author. Her second book ‘Tick-tock we’re 30’, (with Westland 2013, is acquired by a big Bollywood production house and is slated for a screen adaptation). Other books include ‘Our Song’ (with HarperCollins, 2019). ‘Head over heels’ and ‘Mates, Dates & Double Takes’ a collection of contemporary short stories about first love. Her short stories have found homes in anthologies by Penguin, Harper Collins – among others. Milan has written 'Maid in India', a musical comedy.

Milan Vohra is a TEDx speaker and an international award-winning advertising creative professional. She has headed Global Creative at Viatris and at worldwide leading advertising agencies like JWT, Saatchi & Saatchi. Milan has trained in screenplay writing with Anurag Kashyap, playwriting with Mahesh Dattani and in translation (Hindi to English) with Katha. She has been a speaker at many of India's literature festivals and is a strong advocate for women's empowerment, gender parity, and equal opportunity at national forums like the All India Management Association.
