SledgePainter (or "Sledge" as she's often called) is a writer & illustrator from the USA living in the farmlands outside of Chicago, Illinois with her two pot belly pigs, Dozer and Big Juicy, a sassy barn cat named Ginger, and a bunch of random befuddled chickens...and also her tractor loving husband & tarantula adoring son! She lives on a river and enjoys the wildlife, gaining inspiration from nature and all things furry, scaly, and feathery. An avid lover of pugs and sloths, she also enjoys steampunk, fantasy creatures, and cryptids. When not drawing or creating new coloring books, notebooks, journals, & T-Shirts, she's playing FPS video games or dabbling in writing another children's book or plotting a novel.
