A. Rainy Gibbs

A. Rainy Gibbs grew up in Ithaca, NY where her first love became figure skating and music. When her dream to become a figure skating teacher came to an abrupt end, it threw Anne into a downward spiral finding alcohol as her coping mechanism through life. Although she found her purpose of becoming a school counselor and enjoyed working with adolescents, she had not dealt with several heartbreaks from her past. As a result the disease of alcoholism took full hold on her life.

Finally reaching her bottom and finding sobriety she wanted to share her experience with others so that anyone struggling with addiction might be able to identify with some part of her story and seek their own recovery from their addiction.
