Virginia King

Hi, my name is Virginia. I am an Invasive Ductal Carcinoma breast cancer survivor, and the mother of four. My eldest son is in Heaven. The three that are still living are beautiful people that I feel blessed to know.

I was introduced to writing by my mother who loved to read and write. She encouraged me to share my writings with others so as to encourage others going through hard times not to give up and to keep faith in God until the end. I have written several publications of poetry and short stories. I have also written a children's play that was successful, and a novel under a pin name to protect the privacy of others.

I believe in using the power of natural remedies, and positive thinking to help our bodies heal naturally whenever possible. That does not mean that I do not go to the doctor for help with emergency situations or with acute illnesses.

Other than writing, I love to help people, and do volunteer work. I also love family time, praising God, picnics, going to the beach, football, baseball, exercising, watching comedies, art, listening to music, dancing, sitting in front of a fireplace with hot chocolate, and two-sided conversations.
