Jason Penka

Jason Penka is a technology entrepreneur and Founder of CEO of Tech Junkies and Residential MSP Group both headquartered in Hays, Kansas. Serving Western Kansas since 2007, Tech Junkies focuses on servicing residential and small to midsized businesses with general IT management and cyber security solutions. Residential MSP Group is Jason’s most recent business venture.

Jason grew in a family of entrepreneurs and small business owners with companies ranging from retail to professional services. Unlike most IT business owners, Jason wanted to ensure those small business owners weren’t left out when it came to utilizing technology. This led Jason to create a program within Tech Junkies called CloudCare Secure™. This program provides home and small business clients with enterprise class technology and cyber security solutions at an affordable price.

After creating a truly unique service delivery model for technology and cyber security solutions to residential and small offices through Tech Junkies, Jason founded Residential MSP Group (rMSP). rMSP is focused on helping other IT companies expand their businesses utilizing the CloudCare Secure™ program.

During college at Fort Hays State University he found his passion for business through leadership and entrepreneurship classes and projects. As a final project in his degree program Jason developed a business plan for a web development company. This plan would end up being the source material for what would become Tech Junkies. The plan was so well developed it was used as a template for the class going forward.

Jason enjoys working with small and midsized businesses to develop a technology plan that will help keep their company secure, help them reduce wasted time, and implement innovative technology. He serves on several local boards and committees including the Informatics Advisory Council at his alma mater FHSU.

When not helping people and businesses with technology, he can be found on the golf course, cooking, or attending a rock concert.
