Justin Sims

Justin Sims was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. He received his Master's and Undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During his undergraduate career, Justin studied History and Secondary Education, while receiving his Master's in Information Engineering Management.

Growing up in a broken home, Justin was able to participate in various mentoring programs via non profit organizations. Justin was eventually asked to return the favor and Direct the program that sewed into him as a child. During his time as Director for Team Focus, Justin realized his passion was having a longstanding positive impact on youth. Realizing that he could only touch so many, he begin to look to social media to get his message's spread virtually. During that time period, Justin was instructed by a friend "to write the book and stop playing". Before Justin's shift ended, Young King, Young King was complete.

While waiting to release Young King, Young King. Justin felt the need to write the Young Queen's of the world, so he wrote Young Queen, Young Queen. Realizing the need of more diverse character's in childern's literature, Justin hope's that both Young King, Young King and Young Queen, Young Queen can leave a positive lasting impact on youth and adults around the world
