M.A. Newhall

M.A. Newhall is an avid reader, multimedia artist, and

writer. Though she enjoys any form of art that allows

her creativity to escape the confines of her mind, her passion

for the written word began at a young age. Her first experience

with publication came in the fifth grade when her writing was

selected for a book of children’s poetry. Since then, it has been

her dream (and one of many bucket-list items) to publish a fulllength

book. The Holding is M.A. Newhall’s first novel. When

she isn’t writing, M.A. Newhall can be found with a coffee in

hand, pursuing her other bucket-list items. She resides in the

quirky town of Salem, Massachusetts with her husband and

cats.
