Rachel Beanland

Rachel Beanland is the author of THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE and FLORENCE ADLER SWIMS FOREVER. Her forthcoming novel, THE HALF LIFE, will be released by Simon & Schuster in the summer of 2026. Rachel is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and received her MFA in creative writing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She lives in Richmond, Virginia with her family.
