Tyra Starr was born May 24, in the historic city of Chester, Pennsylvania. Tyra has always been talented. She started singing at age nine and has been singing professionally for 20 years. Currently, Tyra continues to sing and write music. Tyra wholeheartedly believes that God the Creator wants his children to be creative.

Therefore, writing an inspirational book to offer help and motivation to women is just another beautiful way to express her artfulness. Tyra's ultimate joy is her son Jalen Ronald Starr. All the goals she accomplishes and bars she raises is for him to see what success looks like.
