Heather Kent

Heather Kent has been an artist / entrepreneur for the past 10 years, previously attending art school in Southern California and currently living in beautiful Oregon wine country with her wonderful husband and three young kids. Though she enjoys selling her original artwork, it has always been a dream to create illustrated books for children and adults to enjoy. The desire to create children's books grew stronger after having three book-obsessed children.

This is hard to type in Third Person, so I will be switching over now. I started my writing/illustrating adventure with "DOGGOS A to Z", my first published book. We are a household of dog fans, and it is a book I have been wishing existed since my first child was born.

["DOGGOS A to Z" is a pithy guide to 26 dog breeds in alphabetical order, featuring short quirky poems about each dog, accompanied by watercolor illustrations.]

I am looking forward to sharing my art with you through future books as well.
