Andrew Venn is a young naval historian from Portsmouth, England. He is the co-author of the Trafalgar Times, a quarterly newsletter presenting little-known facts and under researched topics from the age of sail and the Georgian Navy to new audiences. Andrew is also a regular contributor to the 1805 Club's Trafalgar Chronicle, having written three articles for the publication. He holds a postgraduate degree in Naval History and has experience working as a visitor guide onboard multiple historic ships, including HMS Victory. Andrew regularly enjoys researching the history of the Georgian Navy using his youthful perspective to deliver fresh perceptions of the past.
