Deb is a lifelong dog lover and a voracious reader. Having worked for decades as a college employment counselor, corporate training developer, and writer of health topics for consumers, she's now pursuing her true passion - writing murder mysteries.

Deb shares her life with Rusty (his name hasn’t been changed because he’s not innocent!) in Denver, Colorado.

She enjoys hiking in the Rocky Mountains, shopping online, spending time with friends (usually over food and/or drinks), watching football games, and gardening.

Deb views writing as analogous to gardening. Both begin with ideas, then digging deep, planting seeds, weeding out what doesn't belong, and finally sharing the harvest.
