About The Author

Troy Johnson lives in Sarasota FL with his wife Karen and daughter Lucy. He holds a B.A. in International Business 2003 and a Master’s Degree In Management 2010. He works as a certified Google AdWords manager helping small businesses maximize return on their advertising spend. He is also the president of a seasonal rentals by owner website called SnowbirdSeeker.com LLC. Unexpectedly, he went blind after being diagnosed with Lebers Hereditary Optic Neuropathy in September of 2006. Despite this hardship he overcame many obstacles with stalwart determination. He was trained to use the computer again using adaptive audio screen reading technology provided by the Division of Blind Services.

Since an early age Troy has always been interested in saving, investing and strategies for accumulating wealth. He loves sharing his knowledge on investing and saving. He wrote this book to introduce the concept of money, saving, and financial literacy to young children. His primary objective in writing this book is to start the conversation between parent and child about the importance of saving and the value of compound interest.
