Felicia Middleton, “The Foodie Builder,” is the owner of Urban Aesthetics, a design and planning firm located in Philadelphia.

Felicia began designing restaurants and food facilities 15 years ago with a South Jersey Commercial Kitchen design firm that specialized in designing food facilities, restaurants and bars in Casinos and Schools throughout New Jersey and the United States. While working there, Felicia developed her design and planning skills while learning a new specialty. She worked on several notable projects including a commissary kitchen in Vineland New Jersey; Cafeteria food lines for several Vineland schools and Back of House dish rooms and kitchens for the Foxwoods Casino in Rhode Island.

Since starting her company in 2008, Felicia has worked designing and planning many local restaurants and food areas and facilities, including several restaurants at The Bourse Food Hall, Philadelphia and the following notable restaurants: The Palm; Rosa’s Fresh Pizza, 1 and 2 and the Tropical Smoothie Cafe, located on Temple University’s campus.
