Allison V. Craig

Allison V. Craig has a BA and MA from Virginia Tech and PhD from the University at Albany (UA), State University of New York (SUNY). Dr. Craig is a full-time instructor in the Writing and Critical Inquiry Program at UA, using her expertise on trauma and empathy as tools to foster critical awareness through writing. She also teaches at SUNY Empire State College, focusing on issues of social injustice and genocide. Dr. Craig's writing focuses on gender, traumatic experience, and culture. Her peer-reviewed textbook, _Introduction to Feminist Thought and Action_, co-authored with Menoukha Robin Case, was published by Routledge in September 2019.
