Dawn Coulter-Cruttenden

Bear Shaped is Dawn’s first book and is based on a true story. She started her illustration career aged 6 drawing Cinderella’s dresses on the paving stones outside her house. Nobody seemed to mind so she kept drawing. She now splits her time between a weird shaped house in North London and a 400 year old thatched cottage in Donegal. She always has pencils and dogs nearby; doesn’t like wearing shoes and loves a frock with pockets.
