Carla Knorowski

CARLA KNOROWSKI, PH.D. is a native of Chicago, IL. Her latest book, Blessing My Mother's Rosary: Lourdes. Loss. Love. (ACTA Publications, 2024) is available now. The Catholic Media Association named it Best Travel Book of 2025. Her first book, Gettysburg Replies achieved number one ranking on Amazon’s list of Civil War history books in 2015. She co-authored Under Lincoln’s Hat and contributed to Lincoln: An Intimate Portrait. Her writing has been published in Celebrated Living Magazine and The Chicago Tribune among other publications. She has appeared on CBS This Morning, public television’s Pritzker Military Library Presents and Chicago Tonight, as well as, NPR, C-Span and other news outlets. A cultural explorer, she is working on a number of creative projects.
