Terri Steuben

Terri Steuben helps give animals a voice and brings people and their pets together in unique ways. She is an animal communicator, disaster responder, trainer and author. Using her psychic abilities and practical experience, Terri helps people better understand their pets and solve behavior problems. For more than two decades, she has counseled thousands of individuals around the world on how to more effectively communicate with their pets. She wrote the popular how-to book, Secrets of a Pet Whisperer: Stop Telling Your Animals to Misbehave, which details the "Talking Pictures" communication technique she developed for her clients. Terri is often called in to assist law enforcement officials in operations involving animal abuse and hoarding. She is also a trained disaster responder and volunteers to keep animals safe in emergencies. Her second book, Tails of Triumph: Animals Tell Their Katrina Stories, focuses on her experiences in Louisiana in 2005 as part of the largest animal-rescue operation in history. After Hurricane Katrina, The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) sent her to the Gulf Coast, where she served with firefighters and the National Guard to save pets in New Orleans.
