Harmony Sage

Harmony Sage is the Co-owner and Co-founder of Long Beach Beer Lab, Long Beach Bread Lab, and Long Beach Spirits Lab.

She is a classically trained pastry chef who has worked in some of the finest kitchens in the world. She has a deep understanding of doughs and fermentation in general. Growing up baking and spending time in the kitchen with her parents and grandparents has had a profound impact on her. Her training at the Ritz Carlton under her mentor James Satterwhite and indispensable experience working in Italy and the Mediterranean allows her to maintain high quality in a welcoming atmosphere. Home brewing with her husband Levi Fried in Israel led her to take her natural interests and talents and turn it into a business. It is her joy to take her passions and turn them into sustenance for her patrons. Her life is usually overflowing with fermentation but when she isn’t hands deep in dough or knee deep in malted barley she is hanging out with her two teenage boys swimming in the ocean’s of california or cycling along Pacific Coast Hwy.
