Joyce L M Weis

Joyce L. M. Weis has been writing since she was old enough to hold a pen. She loves reading and imagining new worlds, playing stringed instruments, singing loudly in the car when no one’s around, most things funny, and wilderness hikes with scenic views where one can consume a proper picnic. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at Bethel University, near the place F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote "The Great Gatsby". Her greatest literary moments were studying literature at the homes of marvelous authors such as William Wordsworth, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, and C.S. Lewis. She has published three poems and a work of creative non-fiction in the Bethel literary publication known as the Coeval, a work of creative non-fiction in the literary publication Catfish Creek, and received honorable mention in the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future contest. She currently resides in the Land of the Midnight Sun, also known as Alaska, where she supports her literary habits (as well as her hiking, proper picnics, and singing loudly in the car habits) as a certified medical coder.
