James "Jinx" O'Connor

Former Guardian Angel James "Jinx" O'Connor has spent over 25 years researching Chicago gang territories and interviewing / photographing members. His collection consists of several thousand images (featured in the History Channel's Gangland). The website Chicagohoodz.com was established in 1998 with the intention of fostering street gang awareness. Jinx grew up in the near west suburb of Riverside, IL.
