I am a history lover, with a passion for the Civil War. During a road trip to Disney World when I was a fourth grader, we stopped at Gettysburg and my love was ignited. Mickey Mouse couldn't possibly compare to Pennsylvania and those battlefields. I have a room in my house dedicated to Abraham Lincoln and will always browse at a book sale, book store, or garage sale where I see stacks of books.

My first novel, "To Be Dedicated Here" came about when I wanted to learn more about Jennie Wills and what the battle and the cemetery dedication were like for her.
