Paul "Pauly" Freeman

I was born and raised in Chicago IL. After high school, I joined the Navy. I had a 20-year career in the Navy as a jet mechanic and was assigned to multiple aircraft carriers and squadrons. At retirement, I was the Aircraft Maintenance Chief for a F-18 Squadron based in Fort Worth Texas called VFA-201 Hunters.

I was volunteered by my fellow Navy Shipmates to write these books. All proceeds are donated to various charitable foundations such as: Open Hearts Foundation and the Gary Sinise Foundation. I live in Clarksville, Tennessee, and I am married to Francine who is a Nurse and I have three kids. One daughter in San Francisco, a speech therapist, both Boys work in a Private Enterprise Corporation holding positions as Executives. My nick name or call sign is “Pauly.” Had that nickname my whole life. I am a graduate of Embry Aeronautical University. BS in Aircraft Maintenance Technology and a Master’s in Aerospace Operations. I am also an Adjunct Professor at Embry Riddle. I still work in the Aviation Industry. I enjoy great Chicago pizza, all sports, (Bears and Cubs fan) playing golf and listening to live music. I am a two-time author. I am also a commercial pilot and Flight Instructor for small aircraft and a certified aircraft mechanic.
