Kain O'Connor

Kain O’Connor is a poet with a charming flair for wordsmithing. He has worked as an editor, translator, and writing instructor for over half a decade.

After a tragic accident that resulted in the passing of a loved one, Kain sought healing in bittersweet poetry. His evocative writing reflects his personal experience in dealing with loss and grief, which often carries a gloomy undertone, but sprinkled with a gentle touch of cheer in honor of those memories.

His first collection of poetry and prose, Hidden Castle; Flower Crown, is written as a hymn for the depressed and a prayer for those searching for answers. His work has also been featured and mentioned in several publications, such as the Train River Poetry Summer 2020, one of the most acclaimed summer reads of its time.

Kain now resides in a humble seaside apartment with his beloved pet rabbit, Puffkins. When not writing, he is sparing some time relearning the forgotten strings of his guitar while living an otherwise charmed and peaceful life.
