She is featured in a podcast on backtothesourceradio.com titled ‘Golden Nectar’ talking about the benefits of Ghee from an Ayurveda perspective.

After about 10 years living outside India, She is now back in Bangalore practicing and teaching Ayurveda online and supporting her students in the US.

While in the USA, She had a chance to refresh her knowledge studying the ancient literature, Astanga Hrudayam written by Vagbhatacharya. She began to realize that over the years of what she knew about Ayurveda came directly from this amazing literature that was written around the 15th century AD. This book is written entirely in Sanskrit in the form of verses or shlokas. The majority of the books that are available today on Astanga Hrudayam provide the translation of the Sanskrit verse in different languages with very minimal comments on the topic of the book. For a beginner who is trying to learn Ayurveda, this seems insufficient to understand the comprehensive meaning that the original author wants to convey. As she says that while she was a student of Ayurveda she found it hard to get into the deeper meaning that this book carried. Through the years of practicing Ayurveda and reading different books on Ayurveda she now understands that everything that anybody knows about Ayurveda is sourced back to this ancient literature. Hence, she decided on presenting this book in a detailed format so that even the beginner of Ayurveda can understand it very easily.

Meanwhile, coincidentally, she had an opportunity to teach Astanga Hrudayam Sutra for Doctorate of Ayurveda Students. Through the interactions with students, she learned how to write better and express this book, so that students gain highest knowledge from the literature and obtain maximum benefit of learning Ayurveda directly from its source.

She continued to work on the book, Comprehending Astanga Hrudayam Sutra preparing the manuscript for about 9 years now and her first book Comprehending Astanga Hrudayam Sutra Part 1, featuring wholesome lifestyle practices is now available on Amazon. She further continues to work on her other volumes to be available soon.
