Michelle Spaulding

Each evening, Michelle Spaulding lays out her clothes for the next day, her blow dryer, deodorant, contacts, facial cream, toothpaste and toothbrush, her vitamins, the kids' lunchboxes, their vitamins, the dog's medications and gets her Keurig poised. Then and only then, is she able to fall asleep, although sometimes if she's in the mood to make a real big mess in the night, she'll leave a full glass of water on her nightstand beside her bed.

As a Clinical Psychologist she's fascinated by how we humans function, but as a wife and mother to boys, she's learned that if you don't learn to laugh at yourself, they're all going to laugh at you regardless. She shares her adolescent angst in her first ever book "Bliss is an aisle of organized soup cans" where she finds the little girl in the movie The Exorcist, actually quite relatable.
