Ellen Gipson RD

Ellen Gipson, MA, RDN, LD, is a registered dietitian, mom and self-identified super taster. From a dietetics career in school nutrition to her current pursuit of infant and family nutrition education and counseling with her company Square One Wellness, Ellen champions the philosophy that food isn’t nutritious unless eaten, and early (and continual) exposure is essential in establishing healthy eating habits. Her first cookbook, The BLW Baby Food Cookbook, and now Whole Food, Baby Food has inspired parents and caregivers across the country to embark upon their own food adventures. She resides in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with her husband Steve, daughter Ruth and the most prideful cat, Mr. Darcy.
